DAY 1: CASABLANCA ARRIVAL
Your Morocco itinerary 10 days begins with a warm reception at Med V airport in Casablanca. Our friendly driver/guide will pick you up and ensure the beginning of your journey is seamless.
The first destination is the iconic Hassan II Mosque, a stunning architectural masterpiece set against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean. After that, the terrace cafes overlooking the Atlantic Coast.
Afterward, you will drive to your accommodation. Overnight in a Hotel/Riad.
DAY 2: CASABLANCA – RABAT - CHEFCHAOUEN
On the second day, we will start driving to Rabat the capital of Morocco, when we arrive, we will visit the Mohammed V Mausoleum, the Hassan Tower, and the Kasbah des Oudayas.
After the Rabat tour, we will drive to Chefchaouen to explore the colorful village in the Rif mountains, Chefchaouen is one of the most spectacular cities in North Morocco. Overnight in Hotel/Riad in the Medina.
DAY 3: CHEFCHAOUEN - VOLUBILIS - MEKNES - FES
After breakfast in your hotel/riad, you will have a free morning to discover Chefchaouen by yourself, and after an agreement time we’ll head to cross the Rif mountains and into the middle Atlas Mountains to visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis and Meknes, exploring the captivating historical and cultural landmarks of Morocco, your journey will take you through the picturesque countryside, where rolling hills and fertile plains reveal the hidden gem of Volubilis.
Here, you’ll step back in time to the Roman era, wandering through the remarkably preserved ruins of this ancient city. Marvel at the grand arches, intricately detailed mosaics, and stately columns, all standing as a testament to Morocco’s rich history.
Next, you’ll venture to Meknes, a majestic imperial city known for its imposing gates, grand palaces, and vibrant souks. Absorb the royal essence of this UNESCO-listed site as you explore the bustling heart of the city. Finally, your day tour culminates in Fes, Morocco’s cultural capital, where the labyrinthine streets of the medina and the grandeur of medieval architecture await.
This thrilling adventure promises to be a sensory feast, immersing you in the past and present wonders of this enchanting North African country.
DAY 4: FES SIGHTSEEING
After a delicious breakfast at your Riad, you will start your guided tour of the Medina.
The visit starts by the Royal Palace gate, then walking into the narrow streets of the Jewish headquarters named ”Mellah” built in the 16th century. After that, you will head to Medina to visit notable landmarks such as Al-Qarawiyyin University, the Nejjarine Fountain, the Al-Attarine Madrassa, and the Chouara Tanneries.
Afterward, make your way to a famous Fes tannery, where you have great views from a panoramic viewpoint over the men hard at work treating the different hides.
As the day concludes, we return to your Riad, with the guidance of a knowledgeable local guide. This full-day tour promises to leave an indelible mark on your heart, making this day of exploration an unforgettable experience. Overnight in the Riad with breakfast.
DAY 5: FES – IFRANE – ERRACHIDIA – ZIZ VALLEY – MERZOUGA ERG CHEBBI
After a warm breakfast, we drive to Merzouga Sahara through the Middle Atlas Mountains and Ifrane ‘The Switzerland of Morocco’, where the serene atmosphere captivates our senses.
Then we continue to the largest cedar forests in Michlifen, where the Barbary apes live, feel free to take some pictures and feed them while wandering in the forest. Later, we head towards Rich through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass, with stops along the way for panoramic views and free time for lunch.
After lunch, we drive to the Sahara desert of Merzouga and prepare for an authentic camel caravan experience. We will cross the sandy desert, pause atop a high dune to catch an amazing sunset view, and do Sandboarding.
Finally, we continue to our Luxury desert camp where we will have Berber dinner, enjoy Berber music (drums), and spend this night in a private desert tent under a starry sky.
DAY 6: MERZOUGA - RISSANI - TODRA GORGE - DADES VALLEY
Today, waking up early is highly recommended to catch an amazing Sunrise from a high dune near your desert camp.
After breakfast, we continue our 10-day Morocco itinerary towards Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet to visit the large traditional market lively on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
After a stroll through its bustling streets, we will drive to Gorge Todra via Erfoud. Here, we can visit one of the workshops on fossilized marble (OPTIONAL). Upon arrival at Todra Gorge, delve into this breathtaking natural marvel, where the Todra River has carved out a grand canyon through the mountains.
Free time for lunch in a local restaurant, then drive to the stunning Dades Valley, passing through a spectacular sight made of mountains formed like ‘Monkey Fingers’, then set off to see the panoramic view of Dade’s gorge road.
Finally, dinner and overnight in a lovely Riad.
DAY 7: DADES GORGE - OUARZAZATE - HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS - MARRAKECH
After a delicious breakfast, we’ll drive towards Ouarzazate via The Rose Valley «Kalaat M’gouna», and continue through the road of thousands of kasbahs passing by Skoura palm grove until we arrive at Ouarzazate named ” Africa Hollywood “.
After a visit to the Kasbah Taourirt, and Atlas Studio (Optional), we’ll drive straight to Ait Ben Haddou where we will visit its famous and oldest Kasbah. A fortified village was recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986, and many films and TV series have been shot such as The Kingdom of Heaven, Babel, Gladiator, Game of Thrones, Alexander…
After lunch, we continue to Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi-n Tichka and many Berber villages, we will arrive at Marrakech in the late afternoon. Overnight stay in a Riad/Hotel in Marrakech
DAY 8: GUIDED TOUR SIGHTSEEING MARRAKECH
After breakfast, we will start exploring Marrakech with a knowledgeable local guide. Begin your day at the Jemaa El-Fnaa Square, where the heart of Marrakech comes alive, then stroll in the largest traditional market in Morocco.
In addition, you will visit many interesting places such as The Bahia Palace, the Ben Youssef Quranic Madrassa, and Saadian Tombs.
After lunch near the Jemaa El-Fnaa Square, you will visit the Koutoubia mosque, the largest in Marrakech, and the landmark that inspired other buildings such as the Hassan Tower of Rabat and the Giralda of Sevilla. Later you will head towards the Majotelle Garden.
Finally, transfer to your Riad. In the late afternoon, feel free to wander in Jemaa El-Fna Square on your own.
DAY 9: DAY TRIP TO ESSAOUIRA AND BACK
After a delicious breakfast at your Riad, we will drive west to Essaouira, a coastal city renowned for its charming blue-and-white medina and picturesque beaches.
On the way, we will stop to see the Argan trees goats, and a stunning panoramic view. We reach Essaouira, you will discover the narrow streets of the medina, adorned with blue doors and window frames.
The medina offers a perfect blend of relaxation and cultural exploration, stroll along the historic ramparts with cannons, and take in the breathtaking landscape of the ocean.
Finally, transfer to Marrakech. Overnight in a Riad/Hotel.
DAY 10: DEPARTURE TRANSFER
On the last day of your ”Morocco itinerary 10 days”, we will transfer you from the Riad to either Marrakech Airport or Casablanca Mohamed V International Airport, depending on your departure flight.
